Since I was in my teens, I wanted to open my own drugstore but it was quite difficult to find a place they will approve considering there are many existing drugstores now. So from one brand to another, my applications failed.

I tried franchising a few branches but it never materialized as we have our own way of managing it.

We bought in My Med Rx Plus Corp. This 2020, a very young company established in mid 2018. Its now a Sister Company of a 22 Member Pure Group of Companies

We started from basic products then we established our own brand of Ethyl and Isopropyl Alcohol. Then, we started our Locally manufactured Philippine FDA Approved 3 ply and 4 ply medical masks. We also have PPEs and 3 dimensional Nano Easy Breathe Masks.

We applied for a few drugs, cosmetics, devices like over the counter test kits and this is the very first approval for us as Drug Importer.

This Avigan is a very famous drug in Japan. They recently partnered with Hisun in China to manufactured this drug. Luckily, MyMed Rx Plus Corporation was nominated to be its exclusive distributor and it was approved by Philippine Food and Drug just very recently, September 07, 2020 and we received it September 08, 2020.

Favipiravir, sold under the brand name Avigan among others, is an antiviral medication used to treat influenza in Japan. It is also being studied to treat a number of other viral infections. Like the experimental antiviral drugs T-1105 and T-1106, it is a pyrazinecarboxamide derivative. Said medication was proven to be very effective to fight Covid19.
